Nova Maple Syrup is a family-owned and operated business located in Northwest Pennsylvania. Sustainably harvested from our own hardwood forests, we take great pride in producing the finest maple syrup possible. Whether you're looking to add a touch of sweetness to your favorite desserts, meats, or breakfast treats, our syrup is sure to delight your taste buds.

At the heart of our operation is a commitment to quality and sustainability. We use no chemical or organic herbicides/pesticides in the production of our syrup, and the plastic jugs we use are 100% BPA-free and sealed for your safety. Our syrup is also free from artificial flavors, preservatives, and dyes, and is both gluten and dairy-free.

Our maple syrup is graded using the new International Grading System, which took effect in 2015. All of the syrup we sell is Grade-A, with sub-grades that vary based on factors such as weather, tree conditions, and individual season. Customers can choose from our Grade-A Golden Delicate Taste, Amber Rich, Dark Robust, and Very Dark Strong varieties. Darker syrups typically have a stronger maple flavor, but both light and dark syrups are equally sweet, comprised of 67% all-natural sugar and 33% water.

In addition to our core maple syrup product, we offer a range of other maple-based confections, including sugar, cream, and candy. Our maple cream is a rich, peanut butter-like spread made by boiling down our syrup and then churning it. Our maple candy is a melt-in-your-mouth delight that's a perennial favorite, especially during the holiday season.

Our story began in 2015 with the purchase of a 100-acre property in Hartstown, Pennsylvania. That first commercial season, we tapped 7,500 trees, and since then, we've expanded to 22,500 taps across 275 acres. However, our roots trace back to 2013, when we started as a small hobby operation, tapping just 50 trees and producing 17 gallons of syrup.

Today, our family-owned business is run by Jake and Hailee Leveto, who named the company after their beloved golden retriever/German shepherd mix, Nova. The Levetos have also grown their family, welcoming two sons in 2017 and 2019.
